Red Bricks Media is a full-service integrated marketing agency specializing in search engine marketing, interactive media planning, email marketing and emerging forms of media including buzz and mobile marketing. Red Bricks Media is an independent agency headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in New York and Hong Kong, creating world-class marketing programs for top brands like Microsoft Higher Education, Hearst Magazines, THQ and the Los Angeles Times.
We are looking for a proactive, flexible self-starter to play a key role on our paid search marketing team. The Marketing Strategist will work with a roster of clients to maximize their paid search success through careful and creative analysis and strategic thinking. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on a variety of projects with tight timelines and quick turn-around but who also enjoys stepping back for big-picture analysis. Knowledge of search marketing is welcome, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with client team to plan out long-term strategic direction of search campaigns
- Drive development of creative test plans and analysis of creative performance
- Monitor overall campaign performance and recommend strategic shifts as needed
- Prepare regular in-depth reports on campaign progress as well as ad-hoc reports as required
- Respond to client needs in additional service areas such as lead generation or banner advertising
- Acquire a thorough knowledge of the necessary tools and software needed to execute the job, including any introduced by clients
Requirements:
- Strong performance in Bachelor's degree program required; MBA preferred
- 3+ years of direct response experience (online a plus)
- Solid analytical capabilities
- Extreme attention to detail
- Proactive, take-charge attitude
- Proven multi-tasking ability
- Flawless written English
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Client-ready interpersonal skills and polish
- Proven leadership in a team-oriented role
- Proven ability to learn new tools and software quickly and independently
- Experience with online advertising reporting tools a plus
- Experience in a start-up or small-company environment a plus
Compensation depends on experience.
