Red Bricks Media Reveals New Strategies for Search Optimization with Rich Internet Applications
Leading search strategist Craig Hordlow presented informative sessions at Adobe Max North America.

Adobe Max 2007 North America took place in Chicago from September 30 to October 3.
Hordlow gave two one-hour talks at Adobe Max in Chicago on October 1st and 2nd. His presentations in Chicago covered the relationship between SEO and rich internet applications, a topic that continues to be a source of controversy in the online marketing community. Hordlow unveiled strategies for overcoming design limitations, as well as tried-and-true SEO techniques that raise rankings for any website.
"Flash is a powerful tool for delivering content to humans, but Flash designers are getting pressure from marketers to minimize their Flash development. Flash is a perfectly acceptable development application for both humans and search engines if the proper precautions are taken," he comments. Additionally, he adds, "I see many Flash developers employing techniques to make their content discoverable that can be considered a terms of service violation by search engines. It is important that Flash developers use the acceptable techniques for making their content discoverable."
