Over the past seven years our agency has experienced tremendous growth from our roots as a search specialist shop to a global digital marketing agency with expanding services in digital strategy, social media and mobile communications. What we do today for advertisers is substantially larger than just paid search media services, so we feel the time has come to reflect that fact in our agency branding and name.
Effective this week we are changing our name to RBM and begin promoting the company as a digital marketing agency. We will always remember and utilize our search heritage as the core of our service offering but we found the word “media” in our agency name communicated a limited impression that our only services were paid digital media.
In fact nothing could be farther from the truth. We have steadily grown our social media practice into our third largest service. We have launched one of the strongest analytics tools in the marketplace that aggregates response data from all channels into one dashboard system called Kunu. We are extending our web development practice into the mobile marketplace and we are in the process of developing a strategic consultancy framework that will allow advertisers to improve marketing effectiveness in the digital landscape.
Our new name allows us to expand into the areas that will be critical to the future and it’s a better fit with our vision of where we are taking the agency. RBM will always stand for Red Bricks Media but it will also stand for strategic digital leadership for our clients.
