David Savelson has recently joined Red Bricks Media from OgilvyOne, where he was director of their data and CRM consulting practice in Hong Kong. Savelson will be the Managing Director of the Red Bricks Media Hong Kong office. Savelson has lived and worked in Asia for 19 years, and has a blue chip background in strategic marketing, as well as deep experience in online media and e-commerce.
He has overseen online operations at the prestigious South China Morning Post and was the Head of E-Commerce for Asia Pacific at a unit of Shell. Savelson’s rock solid foundation in marketing strategy was built during his years at General Electric in Hong Kong and China.
Born and raised near Washington, D.C., Savelson is a graduate of Yale University. He is a fluent speaker of English and Mandarin Chinese.
Red Bricks Media would also like to welcome Marie Lo who just joined Red Bricks Media as Senior Account Manager in our Hong Kong office.
Prior to joining Red Bricks Media, Marie held multiple client services roles ranging from account director to digital project manager in San Francisco and Hong Kong. Marie received her MA in Communications from California State University at Fullerton and BA in Psychology with a Minor in Journalism from University of California at Riverside. She also holds a post-graduate diploma in Integrated Marketing Communications from Hong Kong University. Marie is bilingual in English and Chinese and has studied French for five years.
With Savelson and Lo on the Hong Kong team, Red Bricks Media hopes to boost its presence across the region.
